Built with finance from BP Sweden, Mantorp Park includes three different circuits and a drag strip. The European Formula 2 Championship visited from 1971 (when local hero Ronnie Peterson won) until 1973, and again in 1981 and 1982. Swedish star Stefan Johansson scored a popular victory in the penultimate race. Mantorp Park has now returned to being a national venue.
